Weights must be regularly calibrated by a mass lab with NIST traceability. This allows them to retain their traceability and accuracy. Because our weight calibrations have direct NIST traceability, we can provide you with the documentation needed to help keep your operations in compliance with international norms. By scheduling your calibrations in advance, we can reduce your turnaround time from the standard five to seven work days.
The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, or A2LA, has inspected and accredited our laboratory for weight calibrations. An AL2A accreditation is among the most stringent and recognized accreditations in the field of metrologty. It ensures compliance to ISO/IEC17025 and ANSI/NCSLZ4-1 standards, and gives our laboratory one of the highest awards for technical excellence.
We currently have the ability to calibrate precisions weights from 1mg to as much as 60KG. Our precision standards allow us to calibrate a wide variety of weights. We can calibrate Ultra Class Weights, and ASTM Class 1 weights all the way to ASTM Class 4 and Class 7 weights. The calibration of international tolerances for OIML Class E2 weights, OIML Class F1 and F2 weights, and OIML class M3 weights are all also within our capabilities.
